Sally Gray

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Sally is an author, speaker, coach, traveller and life enthusiast, who passionately believes in people and seeing the humour in life.

She is also the founder of Mind Body Laughter, as well as several wellness retreats and courses designed to inspire and bring people together.

Certified in the areas of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and the Passion Test, Sally is an experienced trainer and facilitator, working globally on both one-on-one and group settings with businesses and individuals. Combining her love of coaching and personal development, she teaches others how to gain clarity in their passion and purpose to achieve their own success and happiness.

At 13 years old, Sally’s family left New Zealand to travel the world. It was an incredible experience, which completely changed her life.

However, she returned home and found it difficult to settle back in and her parents separated. At 17, not knowing what else to do, she packed her bags and went back out travelling. She travelled through 34 countries, had a career in the film industry, learned about wellness and studied personal development from some of the world’s most inspirational teachers.

However, she also realised that she was losing her happiness along the way. No matter how hard she worked she knew she wasn’t living her true purpose.

Feeling frustrated, Sally went to Africa to work in an orphanage in 2013. It was a beautiful experience yet also a confronting one. When it was time to leave, she reflected on her own life experience and travels, as well as learning from the children in the orphanage and the young volunteers searching for their place in the world.

She realised two fundamental things could change people’s lives. One was laughter, and the other was having a purpose that really resonated with your heart.

When Sally returned home, her continuing search led her to the Passion Test, and discovering her true passion—the love of people—truly changed her life. From that moment on, she knew her purpose was to help others find their own success and happiness and decided to write this book after watching the transformation in her own clients.

By sharing what she’s learnt through her coaching and the inspiring stories of those she has interviewed, she hopes this book will help others on their own journey and provide encouragement to never to give up.
