Patricia Anglin

Patricia Anglin was born and raised in Massachusetts. She grew up with her parents and four siblings, and lives in Cape Cod. Patricia began writing as a young child, moving from diaries to journals and poetry. After being married for 11 years, she became a single mother of 4 children. Patricia faced many hardships that molded her into who she is today. She has experienced heartache, divorce, bankruptcy, shame, loss, loneliness, addiction, depression, and many mistakes and failures. Through all of these obstacles, Patricia found strength, joy, victory and self-worth. She read and wrote her way to sanity. She worked to support her family and put herself through college.

Patricia has worked with girls with learning disabilities to teach them how to set goals and work toward achieving them. She has worked with high school students on self-respect and compassion, and with adult women on strength, determination, and family values. She worked very hard to find balance with being a single parent, working a full-time job and keeping up with her studies.

Over the years, she realized she wasn’t alone. There were many women out there that were dealing with many of the same struggles; women who had lost their way, had been beaten down or just woke up one day and didn’t know the person in the mirror. Patricia developed a need to help women realize how strong they truly are. She felt the desire to help them realize their own potential and self-worth. It has become Patricia’s mission to reach out to women and to help them realize that they are not alone. Every woman has struggles but they also have the power within them to overcome any adversity. Patricia is committed to teaching all women that they are strong, they are worthy, and they are enough! She believes that together, we can become the best version of ourselves.

Power Within Her was created to help women of all ages to realize the potential that they have right inside their own heart. There are many struggles and setbacks that we as women go through that make us question our own value. Our world can be turned upside down due to the loss of a loved one, a divorce, an empty nest, job loss, or maybe just waking up and realizing that we have lost ourselves somewhere along the way. When these things happen, we tend to blame ourselves. We become angry, sad, lonely, insecure and frustrated. We end up abandoning our goals and dreams. We end up depressed, scared and alone. However, it is US who puts US there.

Power Within Her is about facing those feelings and learning from them. It is about fixing YOU at whatever point you are at in your life. You will learn to get back to the basics and you will put yourself in line with the life you thought you would be living or the life that you were living at one point but, for whatever reason, you were derailed from. This book is not about building a business, a relationship, a bank account or fixing your kids. Although it may help you accomplish all of those things, it is about building and fixing YOU!
