P.M. Weekes

It was the near loss of her mother that inspired Peggy to want to give back and help others as much and as best as she could. Peggy’s mother suffered a devastating ventricular aneurysm some years ago, and it was during this period of Peggy’s life that she came to the realization, “There are things we can control and things we can’t – why not start with what we can?

With this in mind, Peggy decided to totally embrace natural health alternatives as a means of achieving optimum health for both herself and her family. When the opportunity presented itself to become involved in a multi-national company that provides all natural health products, Peggy saw this as her chance to start giving back by educating herself and enlightening others about the products and their benefits. Using this platform, Peggy began reaching out to others to encourage and educate them about the benefits of using natural alternatives such as products and natural modalities.

Peggy’s background in writing and training has spurred her on to what she felt is the next logical step to reach more people and share her advocacy for natural alternatives – through her book, A Mix of Two Worlds.

Peggy sees life as a journey where making even one small change on a daily basis can have long-lasting, positive effects, especially on one’s health.

A Mix of Two Worlds encourages us to go back to basics, to the place where it all began; to use nature as it was intended, as well as other natural means to improve our health. This book is about you taking care of you. It’s about prevention rather than cures. It’s about keeping Voltaire’s wise words in mind: “Doctors pour drugs of which they know little, to cure diseases of which they know less, into human beings of whom they know nothing.” It’s about breaking the vicious cycle we now find ourselves in, combatting sickness with medicine that triggers other issues that require additional medicine and in some cases, creating life-long dependencies.

In A Mix of Two Worlds, we will explore various natural health alternatives with Eastern and Western origins. These alternatives have proven to be very effective not only in my life, but to countless others who have used them during various stages of their quest to achieve and maintain optimum health.

Natural health alternatives can be used successfully to obtain and maintain optimum health.

How you can achieve a healthier, happier, more balanced you by integrating various natural health solutions into your life. As B.K.S. Iyengar puts it, “Health is a state of complete harmony of the body, mind, and spirit. When one is free from physical disabilities and mental distractions, the gates of the soul open.
