ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Allan made the decision to move from a comfortable, safe corporate office to sharing a desk with three others in a Dealership. Life in corporate was simply not challenging enough, and he was frustrated having to tell everyone how to do their jobs when he hadn’t done it himself. Thus, he left his Corporate management role to gain an understanding of retail from the ground up. Rather than moving horizontally, to another management role within a Dealership, he wanted to start at the bottom and work his way up. He did just that, moving from salesman to general sales manager of the biggest Lexus dealership in Australia, a mission he accomplished in just three years, spending over five years in the Dealership.
