ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Anh Thu Nguyen
is a trainer, coach and co-author of the book “Master the Art of Life
”. She was born in Switzerland, where she spent the majority of her life. In Singapore, where she is currently living, Anh is now founder and director of ThreeSixtySkills.com, a company delivering soft-skills courses and coaching services.
Anh’s beginning career track started with a Bachelor in Computer Science at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. By the time she graduated (2006), she had finally realized that she had pursued that path because her entourage wished to see her with high-in-demand skills. Nevertheless, a career exclusively performed behind computers would not be fulfiling for her and would not allow her to work with people, as well as to take advantage of her talents and strengths.
It was also during this pivotal point that Anh read Paulo Coelho’s New York Times bestselling book, “The alchemist”, where he states that “there is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: The fear of failure”. This idea resonated well with her, so she decided to follow her dream to become a trainer and coach.
In 2009, Anh earned her Master of Science in Communication, major Education and Training, from the University of Lugano, Switzerland. By the time she graduated, she was already working at an e-Learning company. But then, again, even though this job was closer to her wishes, she wasn’t really following her dream.
In 2011 she joined the Swiss Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (SFIVET), where she could exploit her knowledge in research and training activities. She also decided to start Formamentis Sagl, her first own training company. These experiences led her to train and coach thousands of adults on self-development skills, communication, conflict management and learning techniques, as well as on making use of technologies for meaningful teaching.
In 2014, bearing Coelho’s quote in mind, she decided to take another crucial step: She transferred to Singapore to reinvent her private and professional life, combining her multi-sectorial technical, social and pedagogical skills. In the same year, she earned a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Adult Training and a Swiss Federal Professional Education & Training Diploma for Adult Trainers. In Singapore, not only she decided to enhance her knowledge and competences, through a Certificate of NLP Practitioner and an ICF Accredited Coach Certification Program (ACTP), but she also started her own training and coaching company, ThreeSixtySkills.com. She can now connect to people around the world, both live and through technologies, helping them achieve their desired success.
Simone Micheletti is a Swiss citizen living his Singapore dream. He is an internal audit manager and co-author of the book “Master the Art of Life“.
Simone graduated in 2003 with a Master of Science in Economics, from the University of Lugano, Switzerland. As soon as he finished his university studies, Simone started working as internal auditor for a Swiss Bank specialized in private wealth management.
Having been immediately thrown into a multicultural and challenging environment, he quickly realized that he was provided with the correct technical knowledge but, at the same time, he wanted to reinforce his ability to build better personal relationships, as well as guide and influence people around him.
Having realized the unquestionable importance of improving these skills, Simone developed an interest in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), the science of excellence. He started reading some NLP books and, finding the topic captivating, he then decided to attend a number of NLP focused trainings in communication, conflicts management and leadership. NLP and personal growth became very soon one of his primary hobbies.
In 2008, Simone felt in love with Asia and especially with Singapore, a vibrant, dynamic and enriching city, which he considered “the place to be”. In the following years, he worked hard to make his Asian dream come true: To be relocated to Singapore, his “City of Dreams”. Eventually, in 2012, Simone achieved his objective and was relocated by his employer to the Lion City.
Singapore offered Simone many opportunities to enrich himself and continue his personal development journey. In 2014, he earned the Certificate of NLP Practitioner. Being fascinated by the benefits of the training and pursuing his interest in personal growth, Simone decided to improve his competences through an Accredited Coach Certification Program (ACTP). His aim is to constantly be fully responsible of his life and to excel in his personal and professional environment. Consequently, he can now use his knowledge to access his fullest potential.
